Hectic week!
Quite happy to be pulled out of the office from tue to fri by the SO to help promote for 50th anni cannival next week. Kind of being made use of.. cause their purpose is to attract the workers to come forward to us and collect flyers and gifts.. Nevertheless, better than staying in the office and staring at the desktop the whole day. Also a great experience to travel around to all the yards under Sembcorp.. 2 yards per day and travelling to SSPL and SMOE today was a great lesson learnt.. the first impression of it was like.. "wow" dam clean.. and like dam organised... and we were so looking forward to seeing the rest of the classmates working for that yard.and yes, they came to find us and ethan was so thoughtful that he rush to buy drinks for everyone of us even when lunch break was over... The amount of workers there seems to be twice than the ones in our "home" yard.. and it was kinda scary when all the workers started crowding around you with hands stretched out to collect the gifts from you. worse is that some of them can get so rowdy and make us feel so uncomfortable. all the whistling and indecent act.. worse is that we dont even know how to communicate with them cause of their english. we were taught to use F9 kind of language which sounds easy but it was brain wrecking.. a 2 hour walk under the sun make us feel dam shagged in the end.. even got into a fight and luckily for the escorts with us.. they helped us handle the whole situation and protect us... only manage to grab our lunch at 4. But i swear it will be memorable as we travel back by the lorry in the heavy rain and we tried to keep each other away from getting drenched.. Playing songs, talk cock and sing song and sleep . haha..overall it was fun working with them. (: sadly gna miss tmr's trip but yeah.. hehe. will have another chance soon perhaps.. piano exam tmr ! and results coming out tmr as well.. One thing for sure is that i dont expect much for the results and im lucky that the school did not call me to withdraw me away from intern and it means that ive pass my modules that i failed at the first half.! hehe.. Gna be a busy weekend ! Tadas~
